The front upper and lower control arms from the E9X M3 are a direct bolt-in replacement upgrade for the stock parts on the non-M E90/E91/E92/E93 3-series and E82/E88 1-series. With the M3 components the fluid-filled bushings of the standard suspension are replaced with solid rubber cores or a sealed monoball-joint, making the suspension stiffer, more responsive, and longer lasting.
This package includes:
Optional: M3 headlight adjusting rod (37142283867). This rod corrects the headlights for your ride height. The original non-M leveling rod will not work on the new M3 control arm. This rod is required on all cars with Xenon headlights but not needed for standard halogen lights.
With the added negative camber the steering is sharper and understeer is reduced. And the stiffer bushings and bearings deflect less which also improves steering feel and response. Since all of these parts are from the M3 there is no question on quality or longevity; no doubt as to their effectiveness or reputation. There's almost no downside to this upgrade. These are intended for street cars but even lightly tracked cars will see significant benefits to the handling and response.

This package includes:
TRW M3 front upper control arms (thrust arm, tension strut) (31102283575 and 31102283576) The upper control arms eliminate the fluid-filled stock bushing which is very prone to leaking the fluid and cease being effective. The solid rubber M3 bushing is also a bit stiffer for more precise steering and control. TRW M3 front upper inner bushings (31102283579) Delphi, Precision Engineered Chassis M3 front lower control arms (wishbone) (31102283577 and 31102283578) The M3 lower control arm has a sealed inner bearing instead of the rubber-isolated stock bushing. The bearing allows the lower arm to rotate freely instead of binding up. It's also a bit longer and curved slightly to give more negative camber (adds .75 of negative camber). With the added negative camber the steering is sharper and understeer is reduced. And the stiffer bushings and bearings deflect less which also improves steering feel and response. Since all of these parts are from the M3 there is no question on quality or longevity; no doubt as to their effectiveness or reputation. There's almost no downside to this upgrade. These are intended for street cars but even lightly tracked cars will see significant benefits to the handling and response.
Headlight Leveling Rod is not included.

These M3 rear guide rod arms are an upgrade for the non-M cars. The stock non-M arms are made from sheetmetal spot welded together at the ends. The arm tends to flex and bend under even moderate cornering loads. Factor in gripper tires and more torque and this arm is inadequate for stability and consistent handling. The M3 arms are one piece of aluminum offering greater strength and with a sealed monoball inner bushing that allows the arm to rotate (instead of twisting).

Headlight Level Sensor Rod
Stay planted in the corners with this 328i and 335i suspension upgrade. The stock suspension does well to deliver comfort and control. But our E92 customers demand more and this H&R and Bilstein package is a step above the stock, delivering less bodyroll, better balance, and improved stance, and without sacrificing ride quality.
H&R Sport springs lower the ride height as much as 1.3" in front and 1.2" in the back and stiffens the spring rate. Both combine to lower the car's center of gravity and reduce the amount of bodyroll in corners. The springs are progressive rate so their initial stiffness is actually very compliant and it becomes stiffer as the spring is compressed. This is great for street cars that see bumps and potholes where suspension compliance is key. Overall, they are about 30% stiffer than the stock original springs. Lowering amount will be less if replacing the factory sport suspension.
We use Bilstein B8 shocks as the dampers and they feature Bilstein's patented and innovative valving system. With this system, small bumps and impacts are absorbed as they should be. But the shocks stiffen for cornering and other suspension motions. It's the best of both worlds as the shock self-adjusts based on suspension motion. Bilstein HD shocks work with these shorter springs because the only change Bilstein makes is a slightly longer shock. These fit with the stock strut and shock mounts, making for an easy and clean install.
Parts list:
This package of OEM E82 E90 E92 diff mounts replaces the stock rubber diff bushings. On a tuned 335i you may have noticed more driveline shudder or problems hooking up during hard launches. What happens is the stock rubber bushings are under constant flex as engine torque is transmitted through the differential. Under normal driving with a stock car the bushings are rarely stressed. But factor in significant additional torque from a tuned N54/N55 and the stock rubber will quickly show its weaknesses. You may have even broken a diff bolt or two as the heavy differential shifts around. Even non-turbo E82 and E9X models may benefit from fresh bushings.
This is a set of stock rubber bushings, made by OEM supplier Lemforder. They are the same as the Genuine BMW E9X diff mount bushings, but without the more expensive branding. If you're turned off by potential side effects of urethane or Delrin then the OEM diff mounts are your best option. The OEM mounts fit and perform just like the originals so there is no second guessing their quality. If you're looking for an upgrade we offer E9X solid Delrin and aluminum diff mounts that work well, even in street applications.

Upper Strut Mounts
Replacing your struts and shocks? Don't forget the bushings! The rubber mounts for the shocks will go bad over time, especially if you drive hard or the roads are particularly rough. The shock mounts locate the front struts and rear shocks to the car - providing a quiet and vibration-free buffer between the road and the cabin. Shock mounts and bushings can wear out just like any other rubber part on the car. This leads to more noise and harshness reaching the chassis and may complicate your new suspension install. When installing new shocks, that is the perfect time to also replace the mounts. There is no additional time to install them, no special tools required, and doesn't take any extra time! If you re-use the original mounts you have the risk of them failing before your next shock replacement, doubling your labor costs.
