Installation:

Mounts to the bumper using factory hardware combined with self tapping screws, two plastic riv-nuts and bolts for securing the center posts. Requires drilling the underside of the bumper.

In an effort to design products that are more appealing to the daily driver we engineered these Delrin protection plates based on our own experience with bumper & splitter damage on our own M3's. The aggressive design of the E9x M3 bumper makes it virtually impossible to not have contact at some point of the bumper, from parking curbs to slight inclines making your bumper or carbon splitters look ugly. 

We decided to use Delrin with our design due to its durable features, the hardness of Delrin will reduce the amount of visible scratches on the surface and giving extra support under high speed driving conditions. Our protection plates are offered to cover both carbon splitters and the bare bumper with an exact fitment and slightly aggressive option for both situations.

The E92 M3 is an amazing looking car right out of the box but a common BMW issue is the height of the front vs rear bumpers. As far back as the E30, the front bumper is much lower than the rear bumper and the E92 M3 faces the same issue. With this problem the front bumper is always super low to the ground and the rear bumper looks in-complete. The ECS add-on diffuser is a unique option for balancing out the rear bumper with the height of the front bumper for a full and complete look. The E92 diffuser also features an optional center fin design to dial in the aesthetic you prefer!

For the factory replacements ECS focus was to take the oem characteristics and add a twist and really bring out a more aggressive look with a direct replacement diffuser. For their new line of diffusers, us as car enthusiasts wanted to design a set of diffusers that really pushed the envelope and stepped outside of the comfort zone. ECS's new line of add-on diffusers is a result of the engineering team and fellow enthusiasts spending time study the M3 chassis, modeling different designs, testing prototypes and making changes to get a final product that we are extremely excited to offer. We design our carbon fiber mirror caps to be a direct OEM replacement. All replacement parts are made with 100% non-recycled raw plastic to ensure that the clips and tabs will not break off easily. Includes one pair of passenger and driver side direct OEM replacement mirror covers.

Install involves removing factory mirror covers and replacing with new carbon fiber mirror caps.
