BMW Engine Parts for BMW 3 Series E92 (2007-2013)

Upgrade your stock oil cooler thermostat for improved performance. Swap your factory 110-degree Celsius thermostat for a new 70-degree Celsius version for faster oil flow and extended temperature control. With oil temperatures reaching 230 degrees Fahrenheit by the time your factory thermostat opens, initiating oil flow at lower temperatures proves more effective than attempting to cool down already elevated temperatures.

Utilizing a factory-style thermostat, this upgrade can be used in all weather conditions and allows your engine to warm up properly, unlike thermostat bypass kits.

The S65 engine has a known history of rod bearing failure. If your engine is higher mileage, don't let this catastrophic failure happen to you. Replace your rod bearings and prevent a spun bearing, a failure that has the potential to trash your crankshaft.

What is WPC, you ask? WPC is a surface treatment that reduces friction and adds strength - two improvements that benefit internal engine components. Ultra-fine particles are fired at the surface at very high speeds, like shot-peening - but much, much smaller. The parts come out smoother and stronger due to thermal discharge. Often an oversight in maintenance, ignition components are also susceptible to wear and tear. Spark Plugs can accumulate carbon, reducing the spark intensity and it's ability to properly ignite the air/fuel mixture, leading to misfires and generally declining performance. Other ignition components, such as coils, boots, wires, caps, and rotors, can also wear out over time due to factors like heat and contamination, preventing the current from reaching the spark plug.

Every 60-80,000 miles, we recommend replacing your spark plugs to ensure your ignition system is running optimally. Over time carbon can build up around the head of the spark plug and decrease spark strength and effectiveness, leading to weaker fuel mixture detonation, misfires, and potential check engine lights. To prevent this, have put together our High-Performance Ignition Service Kits. These kits include new Bav Auto High-Performance Ignition Coils, new spark plugs, dielectric grease, and a BMW spark plug service label to keep track of when your spark plugs were replaced.

Bav Auto's Ignition coils feature core windings that have been modified to increase firepower and promote a faster, more efficient burn. This gives your BMW/MINI increased torque in the lower range of RPM and more horsepower in the upper range. Exact improvements depend on the current condition of your engine, but you'll definitely feel the difference. They'll also improve your fuel economy.
