In BMW's with the N55, the intake system is partially limited. The bottom portion is lightweight and great for feeding cold air to the intake, but the top portion is excessively restrictive. Working with some of the original equipment, this intake continues to utilize the bottom portion of OE ducting and heat shielding, but replaces the top with new high flow ducting and a performance filter. Extensive testing showed up to a 10+ HP gain to the wheels and allows for quicker turbo spool speed. Plus, this design gives you a great sound improvement, letting you hear both the intake and turbo spooling!

Installation and removal is extremely quick and easy, taking only 5 minutes in the driveway!

The DISA Valve adjusts the intake manifold runner length to improve performance. When it fails it can lead to a rough idle and perhaps an engine fault code light. This adjusting unit fits cars with N52 or N51 engine - not N52N models. This is the smaller of the 2 DISA Valves on this motor, it is considered the "Upper Disa valve". In BMW's with the N55, the intake system is partially limited. The bottom portion is lightweight and great for feeding cold air to the intake, but the top portion is excessively restrictive. Working with some of the original equipment, this intake continues to utilize the bottom portion of OE ducting and heat shielding, but replaces the top with new high flow ducting and a performance filter. Extensive testing showed up to a 10+ HP gain to the wheels and allows for quicker turbo spool speed. Plus, this design gives you a great sound improvement, letting you hear both the intake and turbo spooling! Installation and removal is extremely quick and easy, taking only 5 minutes in the driveway! The VTT PCV Flapper delete is used to get rid of the factory flapper, and add a -10 fitting on N54 powered vehicles. This will allow you to run a single or dual external catch can, or your own custom set up.

This fitting is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum anodized black and comes with O-ring, and a stainless steel holding clip.
