Used when retrofitting an OEM or aftermarket CSL intake on a vehicle with SMG transmission.

Its no secret the CSL intake plenum is the pivotal upgrade for your S54. If you are fortunate enough to have an SMG equipped vehicle you are going to need a bracket to relocate the expansion tank. Our Turner motorsport bracket fits perfectly with the engine bay to facilitate the installation of your genuine or Turner branded CSL intake plenum.

Turner has developed a new proprietary zinc-nickel coating finish with nearly twice the salt-spray corrosion resistance of a standard plating. If allowed in the rules these solid aluminum transmission mounts offer many advantages over a urethane or Delrin mounts. It's no wonder that these mounts have found their way into the top BMW racers in the country. These are machined from solid aluminum and have zero deflection, engine torque will cause a rubber or urethane mount to flex or deflect allowing more torque to passed through the drive line (instead of being wasted winding up the mount). This puts the shift linkages in better consistent alignment. And unlike rubber or urethane the aluminum has zero wear and is not affected by leaking oil or other fluids so this is likely the last set of transmission mounts you will ever need. We very strongly recommend using the solid transmission and engine mounts together as a complete kit, mixing a rubber mount with a metal mount will cause undue stress on the mounting points and will lead to a failure. We never advise using a solid mount unless a corresponding solid mount is also used.

These are a no-compromise design for all-out racing use, full solid aluminum mounts should not be used on street-driven cars since there is no material to absorb vibration making these quite harsh for regular street use (track cars don't care about noise).

Achieving precise exhaust fitment can be tricky—especially when the exhaust hanger has room to slide. This movement can cause annoying rattles or even lead to contact with the underbody or rear bumper. The ECS Tuning Exhaust Locking Collar offers a simple and effective fix. Designed to clamp securely around the exhaust hanger, this collar keeps everything firmly in place, eliminating unwanted movement.

Install the locking collar around your exhaust hanger, position the hanger in place, and snug the locking collar down in place against the hanger! Here at Turner we understand the importance of an upgrade that will get the results you need on the track and still be tolerable on the drive around town. When it comes to control arms on the track, making them as stiff as you can (usually using solid mounts) is the best way to increase your driving precision by eliminating the deflection of rubber. The next best thing to create a balance would be to stiffen up the control arm with polyurethane, giving you the option of a more stock like feel with 80a or closer to the solid feel with 95a durometers. These poly bushings will give your control arms a direct connection between your suspension and the body of the car eliminating the slop felt under take-off and braking so you feel more in control of your vehicle.
