This is OEM replacement front (bank 1) turbo assembly for the N54 engine in the 2007-2010 135/335/535. This is a new turbo from Mitsubishi, not a rebuilt unit. Mitsubishi is the original supplier to BMW for the N54 turbos. This is a complete assembly, including the manifold to the engine and the wastegage. It's highly likely N54 turbos will have to be replaced before 100,000 miles. Signs of a failing turbo are high oil consumption and blue smoke from exhaust (not from a leak or failing CCV system) because the internal oil seals are no longer retaining oil. Without critical lubrication and cooling effects from oil, the turbo shafts and bearings are usually the first to wear and that requires a complete rebuild. You might also see increased turbo lag or failure to hold boost, which is usually a sign of a failing wastegate or some other internal issue. With any internal problems the turbos need to be replaced. This is a new turbo so no core charge applies.

Continental is the OEM supplier for the stock serpentine accessory belt on your N52 engine. They are also the OEM for many other components on your entire car. This extensive kit covers many of the common wear items that should be changed any time the serpentine belt is being replaced. As these cars gain years and mileage the belt tensioners will also need to be replaced along with the actual belts. It won't do any good to replace the belt if the tensioners are worn. Please note that if you have an HW06 + (Slim EKPM3), you must choose the HW06 option, as the pre-HW06 housings will not fit. If you have an M3, you must choose an EKPM2 style cooler since the EKP Module has the same physical dimensions as an EKPM2. Installation Tips: https://arcterminator.com/pages/e90-e92-e93-ekp-cooler-install-instructions We recommend using Fuse #8 (2007+ E9X), which is the cigarette lighter fuse to power this. It is a 20 amp fuse, which you will just need to pull out and put into the empty slot of the fuse holder that comes with the kit. Then you'll need to put that fuse holder into the now empty #8 fuse slot. This ensures that the fan will only turn on when the ignition in the car is turned on. You'll also need trim removal tools, as well as a 10mm socket to remove and re-install the EKP module. We recommend using the stock grounding point that's above the EKP module or the EKP module's mounting points as the ground. The ring terminal with the kit will fit either location. The whole installation should take you between 30 - 45 minutes. Prevent costly failure with this IWIS Engine Oil Pump Chain Kit! This kit contains all of the basic items needed to service your oil pump drive system and prevent failure long before it occurs. Chains can stretch and chain guides and tensioners can wear out, leading to the chain skipping teeth. This prevents the oil pump from being driven at the proper speeds. If not addressed, the chain could begin to "slip" over the gears, failing to drive the oil pump. When this occurs, oil pressure will drop suddenly, failing to properly lubricate sensitive internal engine components such as main bearings, rod bearings, and camshaft ledges and lobes, resulting in severe scoring and eventual engine failure.

Under certain conditions, the N55 crank hub likes to spin, without warning and even when the engine is in perfect health. The engineers at Vargas saw and dealt with this problem time and again, and they saw fit to do something about it. This hub uses a proprietary "Spline Lock" technology that uses high tolerance machined splines which press into the crank, and positively lock the hub to the crank. The splines are machined in such a way that rotational forces drive the hub, and splines deeper into the crank meaning when the hub encounters a situation that would normally slip a stock hub the splined hub is driven into the crank to keep it in place (much like a splined extractor). Features: Installs the same as a stock hub Does NOT require the crank to be drilled for pins Manufactured from Harndered 17-4SS We suggest the Crank Hub System ONLY be installed by a qualified shop or technician. Timing tools are 100% REQUIRED if installed improperly engine damage may occur.
