A common issue on S55 engines is when the plastic OE j-pipe cracks leading to boost leaks. DO88 saw this issue and designed a new metal j-pipe to take its place. Having 3D scanned the engine bay of an M3C, the team at DO88 was able to precisely see how much room they had to work with to get a perfect fit. This allowed them to expand the pipe from 85mm to 89mm in diameter, getting better airflow to the throttle body. This j-pipe kit will be the perfect reliable upgrade to your S55's intake system!
