This is the updated high-pressure fuel pump for BMWs with the N54 or N55 turbo engine.
The high-pressure fuel pump is a common failure item in the N54 and can put your car into limp mode, or leave you stranded on the side of the road. Signs of a failed or failing fuel pump can be rough engine idle, miss fires, sudden losses of power, or the car not starting. This is a good upgrade if your car still has an older version of the high-pressure pump, especially if your car is modified or you plan to in the future.
