The N52 engine is celebrated for its reliability, but like all BMW powerplants, it has its weak spots. The valve cover is one such area, alongside the electric water pump (ES2777338). If you’re noticing oil weeping from the valve cover gasket or dealing with cracks in the plastic cover, it’s time for a replacement. A fresh Febi valve cover restores proper sealing and prevents leaks that can lead to running issues.
