Bump stops are applied to prevent your suspension from bottoming out. They essentially serve as a cushion that limits the suspension travel safely.

Despite being originally designed for BMW F8X models, these bump stops fit F3X models and provide a smooth, engaged drive feel especially during cornering. 

The original front bump stops for F3X models are roughly 3.25" long, the F8X bump stops are 2.5" long and also progressive. Using a shorter, more progressive bump stop helps to regain suspension travel and allows shocks to work more effectively before harsh engagement. 

When installing shorter shock bodies and/or lowering springs (cup kit), a shorter bump stop is necessary to allow the proper amount of suspension travel.

Upgrade your F3X suspension by replacing the factory standard bump stops with shorter F8X bump stops.
