Product Details

On the track, "good enough" is a liability. Every component must execute its function under extreme lateral G-forces and high-heat cycles without hesitation. The Rein FBH0117 Fuel Tank Breather Hose is engineered for teams and drivers who demand zero compromise in fuel system pressure and environmental sealing.

When you’re pushing a BMW to its limits, the last thing you need is a fuel-vapor leak or a pressure drop triggering a limp mode or, worse, a safety hazard. This Rein component ensures your fuel system remains a closed, high-performance loop.

Technical Specifications for the Paddock:

• Mission-Critical Fitment: This is a direct-fit replacement for the BMW OE breather assembly. It eliminates the need for "field modifications," ensuring that your fuel tank venting system operates at factory-spec pressure—vital for consistent fuel delivery during long stints.

• Chemical & Thermal Resistance: Race fuels and high-ambient track temperatures degrade standard rubber. Rein uses advanced elastomers designed to resist swelling and permeation, maintaining structural integrity even when exposed to modern high-octane blends and harsh track-day environments.

• Zero-Leak Quick Connects: Equipped with precision-engineered thermoplastic connectors, the FBH0117 ensures a positive, "click-lock" seal. This prevents the pressure loss and vapor leaks that often plague aged or inferior aftermarket hose assemblies.

• Streamlined Maintenance: Designed to mirror the OE geometry exactly, this hose allows for rapid installation and inspection. In a race environment where every minute in the pits counts, the FBH0117 installs with factory speed and reliability.
