If you're taking your US spec E36 or Z3 to the track, autocrossing, or pushing hard on back roads, elevated oil temperatures are your engine's worst enemy. Unlike European market M3s, US spec E36 models left the factory without a dedicated engine oil cooler. Under sustained high RPM loads, oil temperatures can easily skyrocket past safe limits, leading to thinned lubrication, premature bearing wear, and heat soak.
We’ve curated the ultimate complete retrofit kit that adapts the legendary Euro S50 oil filter housing to your US spec M50, M52, S50, or S52 engine. Featuring an upgraded CSF Euro Spec all-aluminum oil cooler, custom mounting brackets, and all necessary OEM seals, lines, and conversion hardware, this kit provides a seamless, factory style installation with serious cooling capacity.
