The M57 Motor Mount Kit for the E70 X5 35D secures the diesel engine and transmission directly to the vehicle sub-frame while preventing excessive vibrations from entering the cabin. The high torque output of the M57 diesel engine deteriorates factory mounts over time, causing drivetrain misalignment, uneven engine surfaces, and clunking during acceleration or deceleration. Installing the M57 Motor Mount Kit eliminates engine rock during gear changes and braking, which prevents premature component wear across the drivetrain. Order the M57 Motor Mount Kit to restore proper drivetrain stability.

  • Included Hardware: ASA self-threading screws, hex nuts, and hex bolts
  • Included Mounts: E70 X5 engine mounts and xDrive transfer case mount

Turner Tips: The engine brackets are aluminum. When installing the new mounts, thread everything by hand first to avoid cross-threading. The M57 uses vacuum-actuated engine mounts. Be extremely careful when pulling the old mounts out so you don't snap the brittle plastic vacuum lines.
