The new Aero4 forged four-piston caliper delivers heavy duty stopping power for the road or track. The caliper incorporates race technology into a body design with widespread adaptability. Radial mounting, multiple options for piston volume, and a rotor diameter ranging from 12.88" to 15.00" give this caliper the versatility necessary to suit all types of heavyweight braking requirements. The new Aero4 is the latest innovation to the W4A / W6A series of calipers. It has been redesigned with internal fluid ports that eliminate the external fluid cross-over tubes and massive center bridge assembly.
Spec37 alloy GT competition series 14” diameter directional vane rotors are dynamically balanced and then mounted to the OE hubs with weight-saving forged aluminum hats. As is with the calipers, the hats are hard anodized for superior wear resistance and extended service life at the load-bearing surfaces. Further weight reduction is achieved by accommodating the elimination of the parking brake hardware.
This championship proven system is completed with high temperature, high friction pads selected specifically for this application. BP-20 compound pads are designed to support advanced level track day and club sport competition, high speed or heavyweight drag cars, and even medium to heavy braking dirt tracks. They feature smooth engagement with a moderate wear rate at high temperatures.
A stainless steel braided Flexline kit is included in the kit to complete the installation.
