Billet Differential Lock Down Kit - Clear

Product Details

Engineering excellence meets drivetrain reliability with the VTT Billet G8X Differential Lockdown Kit. As the G8X platform reaches higher power levels, the limitations of the OEM rubber bushings become a critical weak point. VTT addressed this by creating a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum brace that effectively "locks" the differential in place. This black-anodized kit provides the reinforcement BMW intended but never fully realized in the factory design. By distributing torque loads across multiple mounting points, it reduces the stress on individual components, ensuring your drivetrain remains aligned and efficient. Whether you are hitting the drag strip or the local circuit, this kit ensures that every bit of power is transferred to the pavement instead of being lost to bushing deflection.

Key Features

• Precision CNC Machining: Crafted for a perfect fit and high-tolerance alignment with the G8X subframe and differential.

• Enhanced Traction: Improves power delivery to the wheels by maintaining consistent pinion angles during acceleration.

• Fully Reversible: Can be uninstalled if returning the vehicle to stock, making it an ideal choice for leased or tracked vehicles.

• Heavy-Duty Hardware: Supplied with high-tensile 12.9 grade fasteners to ensure the assembly remains secure under extreme stress.
