The E61 Touring is a great all-around BMW, but its tailgate wiring is a known weak point. Broken wires in the right-side harness can take out lighting, central locking and the rear wiper without warning. It includes the shrink, butt-joint, male and female connectors needed for a complete repair, plus a new rubber grommet to seal the harness entry. It restores dependable rear electrics for E61 owners who use their wagons every day, from the 525i to the M5.
