The H&R Coil Over kit takes the traditional shock/spring package one step further. H&R combines their progressive-rate springs with specially valved shocks and adds height adjusters that let you set the ride height to your own personal tastes. These coil overs are designed for street use with progressive rate springs that start out soft and stiffen as they are compressed. This helps to keep the ride compliant while still giving better handling and balance.

H&R designs each suspension to work as a coil over. This means that the correct amount of travel has been built into each shock. And the shocks are valved specifically for the spring rates to give a tight and controlled ride without being harsh or ultra-stiff. If you're considering replacing any part of your front or rear suspension, opt for doing it in pairs (both left and right sides). This ensures optimal performance and longevity of the replacement parts. In the BMW world, it's often referred to as a wishbone.

For non-M3 models, this isn't just a replacement – it's a performance upgrade. These heavy-duty components are recommended to be replaced in pairs to maximize their efficiency and provide a seamless driving experience.

One of the tricks for getting your BMW to handle better is to add negative camber to the front wheels. This will put more of the tire's width in contact with the ground during cornering. With more rubber there is more grip. BMWs typically have less camber in the front to create understeer. But if you're running a stock setup on the track or autocross you are giving up speed and time as the front tires run out of grip sooner than they should.

Our E90 E92 E93 fixed camber plates are designed from the knowledge we gained from our highly successful racing campaigns with the E46 in the Speed World Challenge series. Our camber plates are offset for the best camber and caster combination for racing purposes when using the stock-diameter sized springs. Camber increases to -2.5° depending on your individual suspension setup, while only increasing ride height by 6mm. The rate of camber change is virtually unaffected throughout the range of suspension travel, reducing the need for other geometry correction. Fixed mount camber plates are legal in many racing and autocross classes - these are the perfect camber solution when adjustable plates are not allowed in your class.

These are very simple to install, requiring only pressing out locator dowels and studs in your factory strut mounts. See below for detailed instructions.
