We set out to amplify the F80/F82 with a proper exhaust system. To accomplish this goal, our engineers at Turner increased flow and delivered an exhaust system that captures the full unrestricted sound of the twin turbo inline-6 S55 engine. The increase in flow was gained from dual 2.5" stainless exhaust pipes that feed into one of the best designed mufflers on the market. Our in-house engineers specifically designed the muffler with flow in mind to ensure that even with the exhaust valves closed, our Turner muffler flows better and sounds better than the stock muffler. The best part of the catback exhaust is the capability to control just how aggressive you want to your exhaust to sound, far beyond the point that the factory exhaust is able to perform. Dinan sport mufflers are designed to compliment the M3 and not overpower the driver and passengers with harsh tones. Dinan engineers their exhausts to sound great and be a natural fit to the character of the car as well as produce more power and torque. Four 3.5" black ceramic tips engraved with the Dinan logo fill out the rear valence (choose either polished or satin black tips). Annoying highway drone has also been engineered out of the system. Dinan uses only 304 stainless steel in their systems for the maximum corrosion protection. This system replaces the factory rear mufflers at a pre-determined cut point on the stock exhaust, which makes for an easy installation and you can reinstall your original mufflers using factory hardware. N55 vs S55:
When shopping for an F87 M2 you have two options to choose from. Either you choose the standard M2 with the N55 engine or the M2 Competition that comes equipped with the S55. The best part about either the competition or non-comp M2 is you are still getting the "M" suspension, drivetrain, and experience. From our experience, there is not a big trade-off between the two models that can justify the price difference. With the N55 you get a lighter weight and extremely capable weapon. Paired with an intake, tune, and the Turner lightweight exhaust the M2 is not a car to be messed with.

Unlike the S55 and S58 equipped cars, non-M, and the N55 equipped cars do not have a strict open and closed valve option. The factory-valved muffler's operation varies with driving modes (comfort, sport, sport plus) and RPM, determining whether valves are open or closed. For precise control over exhaust valve positioning, consider adding a Bluetooth-enabled OBD plug-in for smartphone control. During testing, use an OBD-linked app(MHD) to select the optimal valve position based on your sound preference. This kit offers optional OBD extensions for diagnostics and the ability to adjust vehicle widgets, such as valve position on your valved muffler.

The Akrapovic Evolution exhaust systems for the BMW F30 335i & F32 435 are the result of the perfect integration of expertise, the best technology, and the use of the finest materials. Made of austenitic stainless steel, these systems feature a newly developed layout with two central link pipes replacing the single stock pipe, a new muffler design, and carbon fiber tailpipes.
This Akrapovic Evolution exhaust improves upon the stock exhaust system of the BMW 335i in numerous areas. The first visible improvement is the additional power of 7.1 HP (at 5.850 rpm) and 10.7 Nm (at 3500 rpm). The range between 2.000 rpm and 3.000 rpm and at 3.500 rpm was particularly improved. A noticeable improvement can also be observed at high RPM where the Evolution gives more power. This sporty elegance makes this Bavarian machine stand out from the rest and offers the taste of a more powerful version, accentuated with the additional power gains and weight losses of the Evolution system. The dual-mode ECU-controlled valve exhaust from Akrapovic offers stock-level sound at normal cruising, and a joyful deep sporty note when driving the 335i more dynamically. The MACH Force XP exhaust system for the 2011-2015 BMW 535i N55 produced 9 horsepower and 7 lbs. x ft. of torque. This exhaust system is constructed from 2.50” mandrel bent 304 stainless steel, TIG-welded and has a hand brushed finish. The system begins with a 3.50” inlet off of the down pipe and merges into dual 2.50” tubing which improves performance across the power band while maintaining a great tone. Countless hours of R&D was used to ensure the perfect decibal level without compromising performance. To finish off this exhaust are two adjustable rolled double wall angle cut 3.5"OD 304 stainless steel tips which you can move forward or rearward depending on personal preference. This exhaust uses all factory hanger locations for a hassle free installation. No modifications necessary.
