Upgrade your cooling system and engine performance with the selections below to give your BMW a performance and reliability advantage.
The oxygen sensor is vital to the performance and drivability of your car. The engine computer relies on data from the sensor to make adjustments in engine efficiency and performance. When your BMW oxygen sensor fails, the computer can no longer sense the air/fuel ratio, so it ends up guessing -- resulting in poor performance, poor gas mileage, and increased pollution. Make sure your BMW engine performs as it should, and doesn't use more fuel than it needs to, by simply changing your oxygen sensor today. There is no lifespan on O2 sensors but there are several fault codes that indicate a failed sensor (O2 monitoring, cat efficiency, O2 heating circuit, O2 readiness, and others). The O2 sensor is heated and has a self-calibration feature so once you get the codes or feel performance has suffered, a new sensor is a good starting point to get you back to peak performance. This oxygen sensor for BMW's with the N52, N54, and N55 3.0L engines. This 490mm bank 2 oxygen sensor is mounted after the catalytic converter.

The crankshaft position sensor measures the speed at which the crank is turning and adjusts fueling via the ECU to match. If it fails, your computer will not know the speed and will fuel it improperly. Installs exactly in the place of your old sensor and will eliminate your car's idle, performance, and misfiring problems.

The most important component of the oiling system in your vehicle is the oil filter. It keeps contaminants from making their way through your engine and causing premature failure. Those small metal particles, if not trapped by the filter, would abrade all moving metal to metal connections within the engine and wear out components quickly. These replacement units are just what you need to keep that engine fresh and full of pep!
