The Rein radiator cap holds pressure on the cooling system so the coolant boils at a higher temperature and expands less. It is an OE-equivalent replacement for the original cap on the listed classic BMW chassis.

When a cooling system is overheating, the cap is often the simplest and quickest part to check. Without enough pressure, coolant boils or expands too much and pushes fluid out of the system. This cap keeps coolant and heat contained so the system works as designed.

Replace the cap any time you service the coolant system, and inspect the radiator neck for damage before fitting the new one.
