Turner Motorsport’s Fast Facts for a Full Weekend of Racing
Amesbury, MA. -- September 25th, 2020 --
The seven-time championship winning Turner Motorsport team will compete in THREE races this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, featuring an IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge (“GS”) double header on Saturday and Sunday morning and capping off the race weekend on Sunday with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race (“GTD”).
IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship - GTD #96 Hengst FIlters BMW M6 GT3
Currently sitting 6th in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Bill Auberlen and Robby Foley will look to improve their position in the championship this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in the #96 Liqui Moly / Hengst Filter BMW M6 GT3.
Qualifying for the GTD class #96 Liqui Moly livery BMW M6 GT3 will be streamed live on IMSA.com on Sunday, September 27 at 8 a.m.
The green flag for the race will drop on Sunday, September 27 at 2:05 P.M. and will be streamed LIVE on TrackPass. Complete broadcast details for the race are below (Dad, pay attention) :

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge - GS #95 & #96 Hengst Filters BMW M4 GT4
While the double header will be a new challenge to most teams this weekend, Robby Foley has been preparing for this all season. Robby will once again start the #95 car and will hand it over to veteran BMW driver Bill Auberlen to finish. Foley will then jump in the #96 machine replacing rookie extraordinaire Vin Barletta who started the race. This will be the strategy Turner will use on both Saturday and Sunday. Rinse ! Wash! Repeat !
