Our E36 / E46 Adjustable Camber Plates give your BMW adjustable front camber and caster, which helps with your turn-in response, steering feel, grip, and overall cornering ability. Several other reputable manufacturers offer solutions as well, giving you a range of choice in adjustability. Many coilovers offer built-in camber plates; you can see our preferred choices here: BMW Coilover Buyer's Guide.
BMW E36 / E46 / Z4 - Street / Track Rear Adjustable Camber Arms
Our industry-leading E36 / E46 / Z4 Rear Adjustable Camber Arms are equally important, as they will give you the ability to correct excessive rear camber seen in extremely lowered vehicles. Inversely, if you are upsizing your wheels and tires, these camber arms can allow you to clear the larger combo without contact. We offer two choices for camber correction for either the street or track driver. Our Street Adjustable Camber Arms, which are lightweight and adjustable for street and mild track use, feature an OE rubber Lemforder bushing for factory feel, and a corrosion resistant construction.
The E36 / E46 / Z4 Track Rear Adjustable Camber Arms are similar in appearance, but are different in construction. These arms use a solid rod-end for increased rigidity and durability under aggressive driving, also known as a Heim Joint or Spherical Bearing. The 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 Type 2 Anodized Aluminum construction, stainless steel adjusters, and Class 10.9 Hardware mean they will resist corrosion for their lifespan and continue to be easily adjustable when you need to change settings. These are capable of adjusting your track-prepped BMW E36 / E46 / Z4 for competitive driving and are designed to withstand extreme conditions and provide the adjustments you need to set your camber perfectly.
Camber correction is easy by just swapping some parts. Now that we have seen how different components affect suspension geometry, defined the terms and their associated uses, and seen what we can do to change suspension settings in your favor correctly, you should be well on your way to developing a suspension setup that gives you a competitive street and track advantage. Whether you are working on your grocery getter that may see a weekend autocross or your dedicated track car, proper suspension should always be your goal.
