If stock exhaust volume does not live up to your expectations and you want a lot more turbo-6 sound to get to the cabin, this Supersprint 'Racing' muffler may just what you want. By using a smaller muffler body and more straight-through exhaust flow, more sound can be extracted from the very quiet turbocharged engine. Most of Supersprint's mufflers are designed to meet European noise levels which leaves some room to make them louder for the North American market but without being obnoxiously loud. This muffler converts the X3 to the 'dual exhaust' look with two tips on each side (bumper modification required). This gives a more muscular appearance and makes the X3 more like its bigger X5/X6 siblings. Note: tips are sold separately, choose from 80mm or 90mm tip styles below.

Is the 740 exhaust too tame for your ears? Supersprint has designed this muffler to give a little more volume and presence to the exhaust without detracting from the 7-series super-luxury base. Supersprint's 50+ years of exhaust design and manufacturing give them insight and expertise into tuning the exhaust for power and sound. With the F01/F02 740 they identified both the factory center resonator and rear mufflers as opportunities for increasing volume and giving them 740 a sportier exhaust sound. With this system you have two resonator options - a freer-flowing resonated design and an option to completely delete the resonator. Both options are used with the Supersprint performance mufflers which have been engineered to work with the stock exhaust tips in the bumper (see photos). This way you can get a louder and more sporting exhaust sound and retain a factory appearance.

The rear of the 335i and M3 have a very distinctive appearance thanks to their dual exhaust outlets. But the 328i models were equipped with the traditional and plain left rear outlet. With this Supersprint dual exhaust upgrade your 328i or 328xi can also benefit from this muscular and athletic exhaust look. The US E92 328i exhaust is unique to the US market and that has left a void for performance exhaust options. The European exhaust has different components and layout but the Supersprint Euro exhaust can be fitted to US cars. It consists of a stainless performance muffler and stainless center resonator that is clamped to the stock E92 secondary cat (or remove the cat with the Supersprint section 1 straight pipes). This makes for an excellent replacement exhaust system because the sound is sporty but refined and not too loud. It's a muted growl and throaty sound without being overly aggressive.

Fitment Notes: This system adds an additional pair of tips to the passenger side of the vehicle. Minor trimming of the rear bumper required to match the driver's side is required. Because this system uses parts that are not normally installed on the US exhaust some additional installation and fitment work is required. But the Euro and US cars share all of the same attachment points and hangers and this is the correct system for the Euro 330 coupe (called a 328 in the US market). Our kit includes the Euro installation hardware and gasket.

Supersprint sport cats for the F10 M5 are designed to work with their cat-less downpipes. The Supersprint sport cats are much freer-flowing than a factory-style ceramic cat. With less restriction, less effort is required to move the exhaust gasses which will free up horsepower and torque (and helps the turbos last longer). This cat section will mount to the Supersprint downpipes and then to a Supersprint center pipe. These are built with O2 sensor bungs pre-installed after the cat if you wanted to extend your stock post-cat O2 sensors (however, special software may still be needed).

Supersprint metallic sport catalytic converters are sourced from HJS of Germany. For 30 years HJS has been supplying motorsports teams with sport cats when rules required them. HJS is now a worldwide leader in sport cat technology and performance. Rally cars, German DTM, and Formula 3 all rely on HJS for clean, reliable horsepower. Supersprint works closely with HJS to spec a catalytic converter that is correct for the vehicle and engine package. This allows for a substantial increase in flow but which, at the same time, keeps the environmental specs within European limits. With any high-flow catalytic converter, special software or other work may be required to keep emissions fault codes and check engine lights from displaying. Placing resonators after cat-less downpipes will help tune the sound from the S63TU engine. By removing the factory catted downpipes you're removing a large sound muffler as well and adding resonators can help tone down the open exhaust. All E39 fitment note: the fitment of this muffler is designed for the stock E39 rear bumper. The tips will sit below the bumper line. Supersprint produces a different muffler for the 540i M-Sport rear bumper (Supersprint #785926).
525i/530i fitment note: the Supersprint section 2 resonator-delete is used for all 6-cylinder E39 but the factory center resonator is different for the 525i/530i models. Instead of a slip-fit or clamp-on connection it must be welded at an existing seam on the exhaust. The whole exhaust must be removed for this installation. Refer to this image for an illustration. This does not apply if you're only installing the muffler (with small connecting pipe).

The Supersprint Crossover Pipe will delete the rear resonator ahead of the rear mufflers. By removing the resonator, you can get more volume and growl from your exhaust as well as decrease exhaust restriction for slightly better power and torque. Deleting resonators makes a small but noticeable increase in overall volume so it's recommended that this is done after changing or removing mufflers. This x-pipe fits in section 2 of the exhaust - after the factory secondary cat section and before the rear mufflers. It's a direct install with Supersprint mufflers but any other set of mufflers may require custom professional installation to achieve a perfect fit.
